I am hopping to gather funds for legal assistance for a cada where my brother was wrongfully convicted and Sentenced to 80 years in prison at 100%.

He was arrested without a warrant on March 28, 2007 at approximately 9:00 am by C.P.D. ( chicago police department) for a crime he did not commit. He was unlawfully confined by C.P.D. For approximately 72 hours without being charged for any crime, which is illegal (see Mclauglin, 500 u.s at S6-S7, ILL. S.C.T. 1661.) His request for an attorney and phone call to contact his family were denied.

He suffered forms of abuse such as no food, soiled clothing, lack of rest, mental stress, physical and mental injuries, and was forced to lay and sit on a filthy cell with a metal bench for three days. He was brought before a judge on March 31, 2007 and was denied bail.

The C.P.D’s detectives Mark Pawelski, Michael Landando, and Steven Suvada from 25th District-Area 5 coerced a witness to falsely implicated him an a homicide that involved a shooting on the North  side of Chicago. Also, a witness was coerced and given a deal by the State’s attorney to falsely testify against him. (There’s No evidences connecting him to the crime.)

In addition, his attorney was ineffective for Not calling two key witnesses that were willing to testify on his behalf, his attorney was awared of the two alibies and the two witnesses notified him that they wanted to testify on his trial. To this day, my brother have not had the opportunity to present any witness on his behalf.

Since 2007, we continue to fight for Justice and hopping that C.P.D, State’s attorney, and everybody involved in this matter are held accountable for this injustice and not only for him but for any person wrongfully convicted as well.

I respectfully ask for funds needed to cover the cost of attorney, investigators, witness experts, hand writing expert, potencial bond, and any other fees that needs to be legally paid. At this point, he’s currently on appeal through his federal Habeas curpus petition where he is seeking a full fair New trial.

Our family has suffered to long as a results of this wrongful conviction. Any donation will be greatly appreciated it and will be used only for the purpose of this injustice. If you need more information concerning his case please contact me at Thank you for your time and consideration. #GOODBLESSYOU
