Almost two years ago, my husband was in a terrible car accident where another intoxicated driver ran a stop sign and he crashed into him. The driver and child died. Now the accident is being blamed on my husband. It wasn't heartbreaking enough?

Almost two years ago, a car accident deeply impacted both me and my husband's lives. While coming to pick me up from work because I was not feeling well. Another driver while on drugs/alcohol ran a red light and my husband could not stop in time and crashed into him. He tried to help the small child who was not in a car seat and in the passenger side . But his own injuries prevented him. To this day he is still haunted by his inability to help that child.

As we began to repair our lives from this accident. Losing the car and having to find a new job while he healed from his injuries. The damage to my husband  has been deep. He has nightmares and flinches when a car comes toward him. Forever we are affected by the accident. Severely racked by survivor's guilt it's a struggle every day.  A couple weeks ago they charged him with the accident. Now he sits in jail for a crime he didn't commit. Will he be put away for what he has already paid for in heartache?
