On December 14th, 2017, three young people were shot by New Britain police. Five officers, including two detectives, shot at the car they were in. The driver of the vehicle was killed. The two passengers suffered gunshot wounds. Both surviving victims were arrested on charges related and unrelated to the night of the shooting and held on exorbitantly high bails set far above what the alleged crimes merit.

The younger victim, Caleb, has successfully been bonded out, but his family is still in need of financial support as they make payments to satisfy the high bond. The older victim, Noah, is still incarcerated and we are hoping to bond him out soon.

Both Noah and Caleb are also in need of strong legal representation and in addition to bonding each victim out, we are gathering money to help their families secure and maintain sufficient legal counsel. Please join us in supporting the families of these young people in their pursuit of justice.

If we reach and exceed the needs of both Caleb and Noah's families, the remaining money will be used to support other folks who do not have financial resources for sufficient legal counsel and to whom other bail funds are not available.
