Dear friends and family, my future in America is at risk as I have been placed in removal proceedings. This fund will help me secure the legal representation I need to successfully navigate immigration court, and hopefully stay in the United States.

I immigrated from Trinidad to America legally when I was a child, 11 years old. Ever since then, my family has been trying to apply for permanent residency (green card) and after years of trying and paying, we were denied. I am currently undocumented and I have a court hearing on May 1st, 2019 in which I can be deported.

I have not committed any crimes in my time here and I am a valuable asset to my community in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I am 20 years old now. My main reason for staying in America is to complete my education and have access to better job opportunities. I am a student at Forsyth Technical Community College and I should be finishing an Associates in Arts degree this year. I plan to transfer to a university to finish a Bachelor’s in Communications -Mass Media/Journalism. I have received many awards for educational endeavors such as making the Dean’s List and becoming a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

I am asking for assistance in raising the funds to pay my immigration fees in order to become a permanent resident in the US and continue my education and career in America. The I-130 is the most important to start and needs to be done first. The funds would be used for my immigration fees as follows:

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative:

$1500  Legal fee

$535 Filing fee

I-485 Permanent Residence application:

$4000 Legal fee

$1260 Filing Fee

Fundraising fees - $575

Because WePay takes fees, I ask that you send funds directly to my Paypal - leeannww, CashApp-$lee1433 or through the app Zelle -

Help me in this fight to stay in the country. I appreciate any amount you can donate, small or large! If you are unable to donate, please share this with friends, colleagues or organizations who can help. Thank you.
