On February 8th, Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos, who had lived in the United States since she was 14 years old and who has two U.S. citizen children, was deported to Mexico after appearing at a routine ICE check in. Please help us reunite her and her family.

Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos was detained on February 8th, following her regularly scheduled check in with ICE. By February 10th, she was deported to Nogales, Mexico. Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos is 35 years old and had lived in the United States since she was 14. She has a daughter, Jacqueline, 14, and a son, Angel, 16, who are both U.S. citizens.

In 2008, Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos was arrested for working to support her family. Since then, she had received a work permit, and had shown up for every scheduled check-in with ICE. Under the Obama administration, she was not considered a priority for deportation. However, under President Trump, Guadalupe Garcia de Rayos, and other non-violent, hard-working people have become priorities for deportation.

Although Guadalupe and her family have shown great strength and resilience throughout this process, the seperation of their family has been a heartbreaking injustice. Funds collected will be used towards legal fees to challenge Ms. Garcia de Rayos's deportation as well as towards a support fund to her children and husband.

We are asking that you please donate what you can to support Guadalupe's family through this difficult time, and help us reunite Guadalupe with her family.
