Michael Rosfeld is a dedicated husband and was formerly equally, if not more so, a dedicated police officer in various Pittsburgh area communities.

On June 19, 2018, while on duty as an officer in East Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he conducted a felony stop of a vehicle that matched the description of a car involved in a drive by shooting,  that had occurred only minutes before, in a neighboring community. In addition to matching the description, the vehicle had visible bullet holes. During the stop, both passengers, including Antwon Rose, fled and Michael fired his weapon resulting in the death of Rose. Michael’s actions were justified and performed in the line of duty, but despite this fact, Michael was charged with criminal homicide by the Allegheny County District Attorney. This is a link to a recent article regarding recent proceedings in my husband’s case:

Michael’s trial is scheduled to begin on March 19, 2019, and his attorney has been vigorously fighting to defend my husband’s innocence. Since Michael is no longer able to work, our resources are depleted, and we are in need of financial assistance for his defense. We hope that you will consider donating to protect the innocence of a man who has dedicated the past seven years to protecting the lives of our citizens.

Thank you for your continuous support and your donations,

Michelle and Michael Rosfeld
