Hello:

I am challenging workplace retaliation, harassment, and discrimination. My reporting in accordance with the chain of command and Human Resources, dates back to 2012 regarding a series of retaliatory and discriminatory acts. These acts continued and are ongoing.

Please give, (even anonymously), to my now goal of $8,000.00 for legal fees/expenses for attorney fees. You may even enter your own dollar amount.

As detailed in the below Memorandum Opinion, dated September 30, 2017 from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division, my lawsuit will proceed against Advocate Health Care, the largest health care network in Illinois. They are represented by the law firm, Jones Day. I am not a big corporation, nor do I have “deep pockets” to withstand a long legal battle alone.

I held a Compliance Officer position in the Corporate Compliance Office under the direction of Legal Services for 8 years and never replaced. I had an uninterrupted health care career that spanned 35 years.  I have faith, truth, and perseverance on my side. I have come this far over the past 5 years and need your help to go the distance!  I did not sign away my rights!

Takeaways

  • “For the purposes of Advocate’s motion to dismiss, the Court accepts the allegations in Daniel’s Second Amended Complaint as true and draws all reasonable inferences in her favor.”
  • “Daniel has done enough to allege that all of the events were related and thus constituted a continuing violation.”
